Information on battery disposal

Note on the disposal of old batteries:

The following note is intended for those who use batteries and products with built-in batteries and are no longer able to sell them as they are delivered (end user):

Free return of used batteries

Batteries should not be disposed of via household waste. They are legally obligated to return old batteries, so that a proper disposal can be ensured. You can dispose of old batteries at a municipal collection point or in the trade on the spot. We, too, are obligated to distribute batteries as a distributor of batteries, whereby our obligation to take back our batteries is limited to old batteries of the type which we carry or carry as new batteries in our assortment. Old batteries of the above type can therefore be returned to us either sufficiently postage paid or they can be delivered free of charge directly at our dispatch warehouse at the following address:

Drexler GmbH & Co. KG
Kusserstrasse 11
94051 Hauzenberg, Germany

Meaning of battery symbols:
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out wheelie bin. This symbol indicates that batteries are not to be disposed of in the house. In the case of batteries containing more than 0.0005% by weight of mercury, more than 0.002% by mass of cadmium or more than 0.004% by weight of lead, the chemical name of the particular pollutant used is located underneath the symbol Cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.
